Created a cake for my son this week, he gave me hints on what he wanted and even named it after it was complete. This is a dark chocolate fudge cake, the bottom layer was spread with melted Ghirardalli chocolate, sprinkled with crushed Heath bars, bake to the fridge to let everything cool and harden then drizzled with about a 1/2 cup of caramel, back to the fridge for a while. I used an icing decorator bag to pipe buttercream icing on top of the caramel then set the top layer on. I iced the top layer with buttercream, back into the fridge, then poured the remaining melted chocolate over it and sprinkled with crushed Heath bars.
This cake was hard to cut but a joy to eat!
